Review// ‘Started Again’

This coming May 2017, MOBO award winning artist Triple O, is scheduled to release his sophomore album ‘Zero Not Equal To One: Conversations with the mind’ (#ZNETO), to the world.

The album is a follow up to his debut project ‘Flatline’ which was released back in the summer of 2011.

This new album aims to look very deeply at mental health and depression, an issue very close to the heart of Triple O, as he uses this album to tell his story.

Yesterday, Triple O released the first single from the album, ‘Started Again’ – it is a grime/trap anthem that delivers the same energy and veracity promised on the album. The song, produced by Birmingham based producer ‘Karac’, is set to make a huge impact, as it looks to carry gospel grime onto a more mainstream platform.

The single, which is out now, is also accompanied with an energetic and fun video, reminding both the viewer and the listener that hitting the rest button on some of life’s most pressing issues, is more than possible.

We could not stop smiling when we first watched the video and the track is most definitely an anthem!

In our own personal opinion, Triple O is a true gent, a lyrical genius and a master at his craft. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for #ZNETO – we are stoked!
