“I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28-30 (ERV)

“Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest. 29 Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest. 30 Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.”

Here, Jesus gives us an invitation to give our cares and worries to Him. He is our shelter, our comforter, our deliverer – our Father.

If you feel like your life is weighing you down – that the burden is too much to bear, take rest in Him.

Psalm 55:22 (ERV)

Give your worries to the Lord, and he will care for you. He will never let those who are good be defeated.
